Patrick "Pat" Korte (born February 13, 1988) is an American political activist and a co-founder of Students for a Democratic Society (SDS). Korte and Jessica Rapchik led students across the United States in reorganizing SDS in 2006.[1]
According to the New York Times Korte, then a sophomore at the New School, in Greenwich Village, sought to differentiate the 2006 SDS from its 1960's predecessor by noting:

In addition to his role in the rebirth of SDS, as a high school student Korte was involved with the American Civil Liberties Union and was active in the anti-war movement. He was also an organizer for World Can't Wait: Drive Out The Bush Regime in late 2005, but eventually became disillusioned and left that group.[2]
